Shadow & Spells Weekend: A Dark Fairy Tale Inspired Adventure 🍎🐺🧙♀️
You’re invited to don your cloak and step off the beaten path, into a realm of shadows and mystery at Canterbury Village – just in time for Halloween. This FREE weekend activity is fun for ALL AGES and perfect for families to do together! Saturday & Sunday, October 25-26, from 10am to 5pm.
The original classic fairy tales weren’t just for children! These stories got dark, with twists and turns that fit in perfectly to spooky season. We’ve picked our favorites and combined them into one epic quest – follow the clues and solve the mystery! Do you accept the challenge?
The main focus of this weekend event is a scavenger hunt throughout the village. Guests will need to solve clues based on knowledge of both fairy tales and the village shops (First time here? No worries! Just ask if you get stuck!). Along the way with each clue solved, you’ll be gifted a tiny trinket that represents the story told!
In addition to the scavenger hunt, there will be endless Halloween photo ops throughout the fully decorated village! You can stop in at the pumpkin patch, visit the cider mill, and let the kids play on the hay pyramid!
Admission and parking are FREE! Please note that at 5pm we temporarily close and clear the village before the start of our Halloween Stroll event at 6pm, which requires a ticket to attend.
