Celebrate the fandom of Harry Potter at Canterbury Village, as it transforms for the biggest birthday party of the summer! This outdoor event will feature themed vendors, tarot readers, costume contests, scavenger hunts, magic shows, interactive characters from the Wizarding World, and more! (If you would like more specific details, keep reading below!)
CHARACTERS (played by professional cosplayers and entertainers) who will be present include: Luna Lovegood, Hermione, Professional McGonagall, Hagrid, Professor Trelawney, Bellatrix Lestrange, Voldemort, Barty Crouch Jr, Draco and Lucius Malfoy, Moaning Myrtle, Mad-Eye Moody, as well as a mix of Death Eaters and Aurors!
All characters will be happy to pose for photos and interact! Grab a copy of the Quibbler from Luna (while supplies last), get your fortune told at Trelawney’s Tea Tent, be recruited for the dark army by one of the bad guys, attend Hermione’s Storytime, and more! NEW for 2024: pass your NEWT exam at the Aurors’ Office to receive your updated wizard’s license! (Little kids can receive a Wizard in Training button)
Watch magical (and acrobatic!) feats performed by the Dinder Brothers Circus. Marvel at fantastic beasts including animatronic, life-size dragons and Aragog. Go on a scavenger hunt throughout the quaint village to prove your knowledge of the wizarding world! And MORE!
