TRUE ghost stories involve personal accounts of paranormal experiences and sometimes tales of haunted locations. Canterbury Village just happens to be one of the most haunted locations in southeast Michigan. With documented accounts of ghostly encounters that have been verified by historical records, we invite you to share in our history. Once a historic farm, our village used to be home to a fire station, staff quarters, a school house, and more. Whether believed or not, these stories contribute to our rich tradition of folklore and history of the property. It is here where the history of the land and the paranormal converge in this guided after-hours walking tour of Canterbury Village!

 

As the sun sets and shadows lengthen, you’ll delve deep into the secrets that linger among the old buildings. Arrive with an open mind and a sense of adventure, ready to be enthralled by individual accounts (some spooky, some humorous!) as well as documented findings of past paranormal investigations.

 

Some of the village stores will also be open late for shopping and for you to ask questions at! Yates will be serving up cider and donuts – please note that they close at 8 pm.

 

–THIS IS NOT A SCARE ATTRACTION OR HAUNTED HOUSE

–Family Friendly! (All ages welcome, but little ones should be capable of remaining quiet and respectful throughout the walk for the sake of other guests.)

–This is a rain or shine event, though may be rescheduled in the case of extreme weather. TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

–Time slots tend to SELL OUT, so we recommend getting your tickets early!

–Tours DO start on time, so please arrive for check-in at the front entrance of the village 5-10 minutes prior!

–Tickets are $12.99* for all ages and FREE PARKING. *Plus sales tax and a small administrative fee for website/processing costs.
