Take off on a holiday adventure straight from the North Pole! Join a high-tech, interactive adventure where your cellphone is your pilot’s license and QR codes are your flight checkpoints!
Based on the children’s book Dashing Donny’s Claus Academy of Flight (written and illustrated by one of Canterbury Village’s own!) this magical event invites kids to step inside the story of how reindeer learn to fly for Santa’s big night.
Here’s how you’ll take flight:
Step 1: Enroll at the Academy! Use your phone to scan the unique enrollment QR code when you arrive. This signs you up and gives you your first flight mission!
Step 2: Navigate. Follow the clues on your phone, just like the reindeer do! You’ll use your camera to scan QR codes at different “training stations” to unlock new challenges and track your progress.
Step 3: Master the Magic. Each scanned QR code unlocks a new test of skill and holiday spirit!
Step 4: Graduate a Star! Complete all the challenges and receive an official Claus Academy of Flight training certificate signed by Santa himself!
It’s an imaginative, interactive experience designed for kids, but full of holiday charm the whole family will enjoy. And while you journey through the story, the Village shops will be open for seasonal shopping and gifts.
